About Our Future Talent Programme
What is a Future Talent Programme?
The AFA Future Talent Programme is a specialist football programme based in Brackley and Oxford designed for ambitious players aged 6–12 who want to develop their technical ability in a challenging, high-quality coaching environment.
Open to elite players of all clubs, our weekly sessions focus on individual player development rather than team competition, helping every player:
- Build confidence
- Improve ball mastery
- Enhance decision-making
- Develop the skills needed to excel on the pitch
Following a structured technical curriculum delivered by experienced coaches, every session is designed to maximise touches on the ball, encourage creativity, and accelerate long-term player development while complementing each player's grassroots football experience.
What do we want players to recieve
Every player who joins the AFA Future Talent Programme not only receives a full Nike training kit bundle but also access to weekly specialist coaching sessions delivered by our AFA coaches who have over 30+ years of combined experience.
This programme was formulated by our Technical Director who is:
- Currently Part of a UEFA A License Course
- Part of a WSL/Premier League Academy
What's on the syllabus?
The coaching syllabus we boast has been specifically designed for progress through our talent centre environment and into the world of higher-level youth football.
