HAVE FUN | LEARN NEW SKILLS | MAKE FRIENDS

What is Project Mini Ballers?

Project Mini Ballers is a football-for-all session aimed at introducing 5 - 6 year olds into the world of sport and more specifically, football. We aim to do this through fun games, play-based learning and teamwork/social skills whilst learning new skills.

Our Mini Ballers will learn new skills through play, story telling, and games designed around fundamental movements that are important to a child's development.

Each session will create an environment where children can have fun, try new skills with no pressure, and interact with others to help build communication skills, and learn with one another.

What are our aims?

We want the children to develop a passion for the game, take part in sessions designed to improve their technical ability, build their confidence and develop their social skills.

OAFC cares deeply about player development and providing the best football education for all ages. This programme allows us to work with mini ballers and be a part of their football journey from the very beginning!

This programme is a pathway into our grassroots teams. Players can work on their individual skills, learn more about the game and prepare for team training the following season (optional).

What's on the Programme?

Players will train following a syllabus designed by our Technical Director (ex-Premier League Academy Coach). Players will work on different aspects of their play such as dribbling, passing, shooting, tackling and more!

Each mini baller will receive a winter and spring reports over the course of the season which allows coaches to monitor progress and provide feedback to the parents.

Players will also have the chance to sign up straight away to one of our new grassroots teams, registering at any point of the season!
